Meal Plan Extensions: Blocks and Paw Points

10-Block Meal Plan Extension

Available for: 180-Block, Commuter, and Upper-Level Meal Plan Participants

Meal plan participants with fewer than 10 meal plan blocks left in their dining account are eligible to purchase an additional 10 blocks to extend their plan.

The opportunity to purchase 10 additional blocks is automatically added to the participant's student account management page each time they become eligible.

Blocks from the 180-Block, Commuter, and Upper-Level plans are non-refundable and do not roll over from semester to semester or from year to year. This includes any blocks added later in the semester. It is to the customer’s advantage to use all of their blocks each semester so as not to forfeit any unused blocks.

Paw Points Extension

Certain meal plan options include Paw Points. Additional Paw Points can be purchased in 50-point increments once your balance drops below 50 points.

Points are deducted with each purchase. For example, if you visit a retail dining location and make a $5 purchase using Paw Points, then 5 points will be deducted from your account.

Paw Points can be used to make purchases in on-campus restaurants, coffee shops, and market locations (ex. Starbucks, Barberitos, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Chick-fil-A, and more) as well as at Coca-Cola vending machines on campus.

Unused points at the end of Fall semester will be added to Spring semester's balance, and all unused Paw Points will remain active for one calendar year past your last use of Paw Points. Even if you have graduated or are no longer on the meal plan, your unused Paw Points are still available as long as your UGA OneCard is active during that time period.
