Dining Services, the Ramsey Student Center, and the UGA Card Office utilize a contactless hand-wave system to streamline access to the dining commons and the Ramsey Center.

The MorphoWave Entry System is designed to make entering the dining commons faster, more efficient, and hassle-free for students with meal plans.

How It Works

The MorphoWave biometric reader scans user’s fingertips and creates a unique set of points based on fingerprints.

These points are then turned into an encrypted code, which is stored in the database as a secure biometric template.

Every time a student visits a MorphoWave reader, they simply wave their hand through the reader and the system will match the stored template. No more fumbling for cards or waiting in line!

Signing Up

Students can sign up for the MorphoWave program by visiting the UGA Card Office.

While the MorphoWave system is encouraged for all meal plan participants, students who opt out can still use their UGA OneCard to gain access.

Even with the use of contactless entry tools, it is recommended that you keep your UGA OneCard handy. Your OneCard is still essential for using Paw Points, renting equipment, and accessing other campus services.
