Certain meal plan options include Paw Points. PAW points are not sold separately. They are an addition to a meal plan. Paw Points add on-campus dining flexibility by allowing purchases in our restaurants, coffee shops, and market locations (ex. Starbucks, Barberitos, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Chick-fil-A, and more) and Coca-Cola Vending machines on campus with just a swipe of your UGA OneCard. All Paw Points purchases are tax free as they are a part of the meal plan and are designated for purchases at Dining Services’ locations and Coca-Cola Vending machines only.
Points are deducted with each purchase. For example, if you visit a retail dining location and make a $5 purchase using Paw Points, then 5 points will be deducted from your account. Balances can be viewed through the student account management page.
Unused points at the end of Fall semester will be added to Spring semester’s balance.
Additional Paw Points can be purchased online in 50-point increments once your balance drops below 50 points.
Don’t worry about having to use them before the end of the academic year though, as your Paw Points will remain active for one calendar year past your last use of Paw Points. Even if you have graduated or are no longer on the meal plan, your unused Paw Points are still available as long as your UGA OneCard is active during that time period.
How do I pay using Paw Points?
Present your UGA OneCard to the cashier to use your Paw Points in on-campus restuarants, coffee shops and market locations once you have made your selections. You can also use Paw Points to pay for items in vending machines and self-serve Campus Market Express locations by swiping your UGA OneCard in the credit card terminal.
