Amanda Wilkins, a student from Kathleen, Georgia, made Taste of Home history by being the first known student to submit her own recipe and have it selected by a panel of chefs for the Taste of Home 2018 event. Her recipe, “Banoffee” Poke Cake, was added to the rotational menu in the UGA dining commons for customers to enjoy for years to come.
