Using Your Meal Plan

All Access Meal Plan:
Using your all access meal plan is currently done by swiping your UGA ID Card or entering your UGA ID number and then using the hand scanner for identification at the cashier stand at the entrance of each dining commons. Your UGA ID number can be found on the back of your ID card. Please note that between the hours of 12 am and 7 am you must have your UGA ID card to gain entry at Snelling Dining Commons for late night access. The new IRIS Camera System will replace the hand readers and the need to swipe your card for entry into the dining commons starting Fall 2017. Remember, with your All Access Meal Plan you can access the dining commons an unlimited amount of times per day whenever the dining commons are open during serving hours.

All Access + Paw Points:
To use your meal plan in the dining commons, please refer to the above paragraph.
The Paw Points connected with your meal plan can be used at any UGA Dining Services and Coca-Cola Vending Machines on campus. 1 Paw Point is redeemable for $1 worth of food. To use your Paw Points you will need to present your ID card to the cashier. When using your Paw Points at vending you will swipe your ID card in the credit card terminal.

Commuter Meal Plan (Block Plan + Paw Points):
Using your Commuter Meal Plan in the dining commons is currently a little different than the all access plans. When using your commuter meal plan in the dining commons you will present your UGA ID Card to the cashier at the entrance of the dining commons so make sure to always have your ID on you. To use your Paw Points in UGA Dining Service retail locations you will present your ID card to the cashier. When using your Paw Points at vending machines all you need to do is swipe your ID card in the credit card terminal. The new IRIS Camera System will replace the hand readers and the need to swipe your card for entry into the dining commons starting Fall 2017. You will still need to have your UGA ID Card available for all Paw Point purchases.
