Using Your Meal Plan

All Access Meal Plan:
The new IRIS Camera System will replace the hand readers and the need to swipe your UGA card for entry into the dining commons starting Fall 2017.
The IRIS Camera System uses a mathematical analysis of the random patterns within the iris of an eye to verify a person’s identity. In the enrollment stage, the IRIS Camera System captures a digital photographed iris pattern (D-PIP) of a user’s eyes.  The new technology will decrease customer wait time at the turnstiles and provide a hygienic and hands-free entry method into UGA’s five dining commons and the Ramsey Center. It is important that customers continue to carry their UGA ID card with them as this card is required to use Paw Points, rent equipment, and access other campus services. Please note that between the hours of 12 am and 7 am you must have your UGA ID card to gain entry at Snelling Dining Commons for late night access. Remember, with your All Access Meal Plan you can access the dining commons an unlimited amount of times per day whenever the dining commons are open during serving hours.

All Access + Paw Points:
To use your meal plan in the dining commons, please refer to the above paragraph.
The Paw Points connected with your meal plan can be used at any UGA Dining Services and Coca-Cola Vending Machines on campus. 1 Paw Point is redeemable for $1 worth of food. To use your Paw Points you will need to present your ID card to the cashier. When using your Paw Points at vending you will swipe your ID card in the credit card terminal.
