Whether you are returning to UGA or beginning your first semester, we look forward to welcoming you to campus in just a few days. While the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has posed challenges for all of us, we remain committed to providing you with an exceptional dining program during your time at UGA. This means continuously creating solutions and maintaining the excellent customer service you know and love.

We are thankful for our ongoing partnership with the Student Government Association which always helps us better understand the current needs of students. In order to better support you during this time and provide greater flexibility, we are piloting the addition of two new meal plans this academic year. Even if you previously purchased a meal plan, you are eligible to change to one of these new pilot options without penalty.  During the pilot, these plans will be available to students living on- or off-campus* and will provide either 180 blocks per semester plus 300 Paw Points or 180 blocks per semester with no Paw Points.

These plans provide approximately two meals per day in our residential dining commons, and you may use your blocks at your convenience each semester.  Paw Points add on-campus dining flexibility as we accept them at any of our retail locations, such as Barberitos, Chick-fil-A, Panda Express, and more. Paw Points remain active for one calendar year past a student's last use of Paw Points.

Blocks do not roll so it is to your advantage to use your blocks each semester so as to not forfeit any unused blocks from fall to spring.

I plan to eat the majority of my meals on campus. Is this the right plan for me?
These plans are being piloted to provide as much flexibility and choice as possible for students during the unprecedented challenges we are currently facing. However, we offer many different options to meet the diverse needs of our campus. The pilot plans provide a good option for students looking for about two meals per day with or without a little extra for additional retail purchases at places such as Starbucks, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Chick-fil-A, Panda Express, and more. We continue to offer unlimited, all-access plans so students do not have to worry about how many blocks they’ve used. For $126 more per semester, a student may enjoy 7-day all-access dining at our five dining commons plus 110 Paw Points as compared to the 180-block plan with 300 Paw Points. View our all-access plans online.

I already signed-up for a commuter meal plan. Is this the right plan for me?
While you may use your blocks at your convenience each semester, many of our commuter plans provide approximately one meal per day with additional value toward retail dining purchases. The pilot plans would provide additional meals in our residential dining facilities, allowing commuters the option to have up to approximately two meals per day in our residential dining commons if they would like. View our commuter plans online.

Where can I eat if I am not on a meal plan?
During this period of temporary dining adjustments, residential dining locations will be open for meal plan participants only. Those using credit/debit or Bulldog Bucks to purchase food may do so at our retail dining locations.
